Lighter Model Updates (Deltas)
Currently, updating the AI model requires a full redownload. We're working on "delta updates" that will allow you to improve your companion's intelligence with just a few megabytes of data. This will make our weekly intelligence drops as seamless as updating any other app.
Richer Personalities & Fine-tuning
While Colloqio is already highly adaptable, we're expanding our suite of base personalities. In 2026, you'll be able to choose from dozens of specialized models fine-tuned for everything from professional productivity and coding assistance to creative storytelling and emotional support.
Voice Integration (Entirely Local)
The ultimate goal for any companion is real-time, low-latency voice chat. We are developing a Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech pipeline that also runs entirely on-device. Imagine talking to your companion like a real person, even when you're 30,000 feet in the air without Wi-Fi.
Extended Memory Architecture
We're pushing the limits of local vector storage to allow for even longer conversation histories without sacrificing speed. Your companion will remember things you said months ago as clearly as what you said five minutes ago.
